Scam Mail

What is Scam Mail?  Scam Mail is illegal and targets the most vulnerable.  It Involves professional fraudsters sending convincing letters that are designed to trick people out of money or other valuables.  It can include bogus competitions and fake prize draw.  This mail originates mostly from overseas and is hard to detect.

The Royal Mail is committed to doing all it can to protect their customers.  To date they have stopped over 4 million suspected pieces of scam mail at their distribution centres

If you or someone you know is in receipt of scam mail please contact Royal Mail either by post at FREEPOST SCAM MAIL enclosing any items suspected of being scam mail, by phone to Royal Mail Scam Helpline 0800 0113 466 or by email at scam.mail@royalmail.com
