Due to works planned to be undertaken by Kent County Council, it will be necessary to close part of Teston Lane, Teston & West Farleigh, from 28th October 2024 with estimated completion by 1st December 2024.
Teston Lane, Teston & West Farleigh, will be closed 20metres in either direction of Teston Lane Bridge. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2163 Teston Lane, B2010 Lower Road, B2010 Smiths Hill, B2010 Yalding Hill, B2010 High Street, B2162 Benover Road, B2162 Hampstead Lane, B2015 Maidstone Road, B2015 Bow Road, A26 Tonbridge Road, B2163 Teston Lane and vice versa. Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow bridge repair works to be carried out.
