The Chairman opened the meeting by reminding everyone in attendance the meeting may be filmed, recorded, photographed or otherwise reported and asked if any person present intends to make a video or audio recording of the proceedings. None
19/014 APOLOGIES FOR ABSCENCE

19/015 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST/DISPENSATIONS
Cllr Marks declared an interest in the co-option of a new member, as he was related to the candidate
19/016 CO-OPTION OF NEW MEMBER ON TO THE PARISH COUNCIL
There was one candidate, Mr Mark Burrows. There was a secret ballot – Cllr Marks did not vote. All Councillors voted in favour and Mr Burrows was duly elected. Mr Burrows took his seat with Councillors and signed a Declaration Acceptance of Office
19/017 ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Chairman said Mr William English of Manor Farm had reported damage to newly installed fencing and gate posts along the public right of way across his land. This had been reported to the police

19/024 REPORTS FROM COMMITTEES AND OTHER BODIES
Finance & General Purposes – No meeting Cllr Marks reported he understood that at present the car sales site next to the car park was to be let not sold
Planning – Meeting to follow.
Wateringbury Sports & Recreational Association – It was reported waste bins had not been emptied. One damaged bin needed replacing
Village Hall – The Chairman referred to the previous suggestion of a community library in the foyer of the hall. After discussion it was agreed to contact former Councillor Jessica Roe and suggest she looks for a site that would be open all the time.
Tonbridge & Malling Area Committee of KALC_– The Chairman referred to Borough Green Parish Council whose Clerk had been taken seriously ill which meant no one could get access to the council’s computer at it was voice activated. Parish Councils were warned about the danger. The Chairman said Council would discuss this at a private session at the July Parish Council Meeting
Parish Partnership Panel – Next meeting 13th June
Joint Parish Council Transport Consultative Group – Next meeting 20th June
Kent Community Rail Partnership – Cllr Burrows agreed to be representative
Highways & Transportation-Speedwatch – The next meeting 11th June 6pm Speedwatch report attached
Allotments – All fees had been paid
Cemetery – No Committee – nothing to report
Joint Flood Group – Nothing to report
19/025 FINANCIAL STATEMENT AND ACCOUNTS FOR PAYMENT
Agreement of the Financial Statement was proposed by Cllr Fielding and seconded by Cllr Wells. All cheques were signed
19/026 PUBLIC DISCUSSION
It was reported the bin at the corner of Canon Lane had not been emptied. Christine Byron offered to replace the padlock on the Lock-up Dog bins not being emptied was also reported.
It was reported a manhole cover in Bow Road as loose. It would be reported.
It was reported that hedges and vegetation was overgrown along the A26 Tonbridge Road from Canon Lane to Pizien Well Road. This would be reported.
It was reported a vehicle had been seen using the public right of way from Bow Road
There being no further business the Chairman thanked everyone for coming and closed the meeting at 8.45pm
